OPERATION MMI: Vigilant Victory Training Phase

Phase 1:

Physical readiness will put all of our troops through a strenuous obstacle course. Each $500 raised will move the unit one step closer to the end of the phase. Upon raising $10,000, the unit will proceed to the second stage.

Phase 2:

Marksmanship will sharpen our shooting skills. Each $1,000 raised moves the unit closer to “GO” status at the range.

Phase 3:

Sub-unit Evaluations (SUEs) will strengthen our ability to work in small fire teams. Each $1,500 raised moves the units farther along the SUE Course.

Phase 4:

Large Force Maneuvers (LFMs) will strengthen each battalion (and of course the Militia) in their ability to maneuver through larger blocks of terrain. Each $2,000 moves the unit a step closer to completion.

We know you. We know that each of you seeks to excel, to exceed the expectations of our leadership. For that reason, any unit that completes the first four phases will have the opportunity to participate in the “110% Trails.” These exercises bring together airborne operations, patrolling, counter-insurgency, and Military Operations in Urban Terrain (MOUT). Each step through the 110% Trials requires $2,500.

Official Order to Report for Training

We are proud to announce that Operation MMI was a resounding success! We thank you all for what you’ve done to secure the future of Marion Military Institute. A hearty “HOOAH” and “OORAH” to all!

But the failure to maintain vigilance is often the downfall of a conquering force. So, as 2017 looms, we have prepared a training plan, code name Vigilant Victory, for our units and for the local Parents and Patrons Militia. Vigilant Victory is a competitive training operation!

The winning team will be celebrated at the end of the effort in a manner that has been classified Top Secret, Eyes Only, and that is an effort of this magnitude.

Good luck and Godspeed to you all. May we prevail in 2017.

HOW DO UNITS MOVE THROUGH THE TRAINING OPERATION?

The operation is represented schematically on OperationMMI.com. Each phase requires and increasingly larger donation value to progress. For example, in the Physical Readiness Phase, every time a unit raises $1,000, the unit insignia moves a block.

SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Donors who give $1,000 or more will receive a limited edition engraved stainless steel canteen. The winning unit will be celebrated in a manner that has been deemed Top Secret, Eyes Only at this time.

HOW CAN I TRACK THE PROGRESS OF MY UNIT?

On OperationMMI.com, the movement of each unit is represented by the figure of a flag bearing the insignia of that unit. As donations are made, the flag moves along the course of the training program.

CAN I DESIGNATE MY GIFT?

Yes! Just use the dropdown menu in the donation form to select your fund of choice.

Success depends on you!
